Woodlawn AR SD Had Lockdown Early This Morning Due To Resident Shooting A Gun

This morning about 6:50 a.m. there was a report that a man living across from the Woodlawn School was in his yard shooting a gun. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department along with officers from the Arkansas State Police responded. A deputy arrived at the residence and located the individual who at the time was not armed. The individual was intoxicated and was taken into custody. There were no children at the school at the time and there was no intent to harm anyone at the school. The situation has been handled and the suspect remains in custody. There have been numerous reports on social media about this incident and some of those reports contain incorrect information.
