At 4:06 p.m Monticello Fire Department was paged out to another grass fire call right after the one on Robinhood Dr.

The fire was behind the parkridge apartments.

Monticello AR FD & PD Responded To MSD School Bus Busted Hose Leaking Steam

Statement from Monticello School District Superintendent

A Monticello Bus experienced a burst hose that resulted in steam, not a fire. All students were evacuated and were transferred to another bus. There were no injuries. I would like to thank the Monticello Transportation Department, SROs and Monticello PD for their assistance.

At 3:27 pm Monticello Fire Department was toned out for a bus fire on HWY 425 S & Jordan Dr. Engine 2, Rescue, FD 30 and FD 28 responded.

Upon arrival the bus had been safely evacuated of passengers. No injures were seen and no other information is available at this time.
