At 2:53 pm on Sunday June 23rd 2024 Monticello Fire Department was paged out to a down power line on the University of Arkansas Monticello campus.

Engine 2 stood by on scene while waiting on Entergy to shut the power off.

A vehicle suffered damage as a result of the line. No injures were reported.
