Monticello is FULL of good people doing good things for our town. One example is our local Post Office who will be gathering food to give to local citizens in need.
Today, Mayor Jason Akers issued a Proclamation proclaiming May 11, 2024 Letter Carriers Food Drive Day, which will be when the food collected will be distributed to those in need.
The Post Office staff isn’t just talking about volunteerism or what it takes to be a great community, they are DOING IT!
